In 1999 I became tired of working in accounting and embarked on my career as an artist. I
spent three years studying furniture design and construction at the renowned Sheridan
College School of Craft and Design. The Sheridan course stresses the unique, one of a kind
aspect of furniture making. I took this new insight and skill set and spent the next 6 years
working for a furniture manufacturer learning the production side. I am now embarking on a
new career as a furniture craftsman, in which I combine my marquetry and parquetry with
the pieces I make, creating an unusual visual feast for the viewer.
